The Mattameechen District is a part of the Central New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  It was formed through the merger in 2010 of the SEMEOS District with the Raritan Bay District. In the language of the Lenape Indians, mattameechen means "cross roads."

Mattameechen serves all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, and Venturing Units in the following towns in Middlesex County, New Jersey:

The Mattameechen District is part of the Central New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mattameechen District serves Cub Scout and Boy Scout units in Middlesex County New Jersey. It provides leadership and training, hosts events such as roundtables and camping, and supports the annual popcorn sale fund raiser.
