*** 2013 CNJC National Jamboree Shoulder Strips for sale! ***

For the 2013 National Jamboree, the Central New Jersey Council has issued special Council Shoulder Strips (CSP) for its five contingent troops, as well as a Staff CSP and a commemorative Back Pack Patch featuring all six shoulder strips around a central design.

The patches have the theme of "Scenes of the Central New Jersey Council." Each patch shows a unique geographic feature that can be found within the boundaries of the Central New Jersey Council.

The Mattameechen District is a part of the Central New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  It was formed through the recent merger of the SEMEOS District with the Raritan Bay District. In the language of the Lenape Indians, mattameechen means "cross roads."

Mattameechen serves all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity, and Venturing Units in the following towns in Middlesex County, New Jersey:

The Mattameechen District is part of the Central New Jersey Council, Boy Scouts of America. Mattameechen District serves Cub Scout and Boy Scout units in Middlesex County New Jersey. It provides leadership and training, hosts events such as roundtables and camping, and supports the annual popcorn sale fund raiser.
